Ok ok…. it turns out, between 3 doctors ….they have discussed and decided, at the moment it would be too risky to have the surgery. “If you are having headaches, just take something for it!” the endo doc snapped.

So yes, I’m going to suck it up, keep taking my meds (as well as popping ibuprofen like M&M’s) and “wait until November” for the “re-evaluation”.

Having asked myself a million times, what did I do to the karmic universe to make this happen?? I mean really, kids get cancer, heinous crimes get committed against innocent victims, people are killed in ridiculous high speed chases and yet all the while, there’s no moment of silence… the stock market keeps ticking… the world keeps spinning.

I had a very interesting conversation with a dear friend of mine, and she has a very different view point to the “everything happens for a reason” statement. Maybe things don’t happen for any reason. Maybe they just happen.

When life happens (good and bad)… we often feel happiness, sadness, fear, anger, jealously, excitement, pain, pleasure, inspiration and love.

So when “things happen” (yes, good and bad)… maybe the “reason” part of it happening, is to learn something from it. FEEL something from it. Whether we do or we don’t…. is a result of our own choices.
