So do y’all remember Cousin It from the Addams Family? Well, at one time in my life I can remember having so much hair, that’s what some of my friends called me. After the last few years of illness, treatments and surgeries… I was more starting to resemble Uncle Fester.

Now my hair is not clogging up the shower drain anymore, and I’m starting to actually see new growth. Woo Hoo!!!! One small problem, what used to be dark brunette, is now coming in silver white. Not mousy brown, not grey, but WHITE! Now I’ve heard numerous women say “I’m keeping it, cuz I’ve earned it”.  I must admit, that beautiful silver hair certainly looks becoming on Emmylou Harris and on men like Sean Connery it’s down right hot! But no it’s not for me. I’m goin’ down swinging. Yep that’s right, hair color can be bought. Just like white teeth can be bought. And after being sick, I’m using the crest strips and color in a box! Hey I’m not looking to buy the fountain of youth….. just want to take a dip in it from time to time.
