I’ll tell ya, hysterectomies aren’t any more fun than removing pituitary tumors. Just getting in and out of bed or a chair takes effort and time. It’s been a little over a week since surgery and I understand I’ll be doing better at 4 weeks. And at 6 weeks I ought to be back to normal. Whatever that is.

Every day gets a little better than the one before, but holy mother of God, does it ever hurt!

Pain. Sucks.

My nephew, who is 12 told me prior to my brain surgery… “don’t worry about it Happy” (that’s my nickname to him). He said, “I had 4 teeth pulled, you’ll be ok”.

I smiled and said “you’re right”.

It’s all relative.
