The tumor is in fact smaller!! Woo Hooooooooo! Mayber over 25% smaller. However, due to the fact I’m not responding to the the dosage of medication I’m currently on…. both the endo doc and the neuro surgeon have decided to increase the dosage…. again. Hopefully avoiding re-growth of what I just lost (over the course of 3 years).

Typically people treated with the same tumor take .25 mgs weekly to control it. I get to take 5.0 mgs weekly. If I thought my hair was falling out before, both docs thought it would be pretty likely I’ll be skinned out completely in the next couple of months. Oh well. I’ve decided to look for Tina Turner hair. If I buy it…. then it does in fact become my hair. (Perhaps if I wear the hair…. I will inherit the legs as well, heh heh.)

Of course, I’ve made an executive decision, and will gradually work up to the dosage. But I am diligent about taking my medication, so it will be interesting to see if in fact the prolactin level comes back down.

Blood work is to be done again in 6 weeks, with a follow up trip in 6 months.
