Smile

Evidently I was getting a little too cocky about my current state of health. I am having the constant headache again, so I went in for a few lab tests. My prolactin level is starting to crawl back up. The endocrinologist says they (my neuro surgeon) probably didn’t get it all. He says with pituitary tumors like mine, if even one little fraction of a cell is left, it can grow back. I have to go another 4 weeks for more lab tests… then possibly back on the meds.

I’m not getting too excited about it, as he says a small dose (rather than the freakishly HUGE dose I was on before) would probably suppress it, letting me go on to live a “normal” life.

Somewhat disappointing. My hair was just starting to grow back, and now it’s falling out again.

I’m still smiling.
